Cynthia Hammond is President and Co-Founder of Churchill Commercial Capital, a commercial mortgage banking company based in Scottsdale, Arizona, founded in 1994. Churchill Commercial Capital is a loan correspondent for major life insurance companies and has broad and deep relationships with numerous lenders who make permanent, bridge, construction and equity investments in commercial real estate, ranging from $1 to over $100 million. In addition to running Churchill, Cindy arranges debt and equity for owners of property located in the southwestern United States.

Churchill has a stellar reputation as a skilled mortgage banker able to arrange financing for the entire capital stack of an investment. They have closed financing for retail, multi-family, senior housing, industrial, office, medical, self-storage, and hotels located across the western USA. Churchill services a sizeable loan portfolio for its life company correspondents.

Cindy has over 35 years’ experience in finance, acquisitions and marketing of institutional quality commercial real estate. Prior to forming Churchill in 1994, she ran Hammond Commercial Real Estate Finance, arranged commercial mortgage loans at John Hancock Real Estate Finance, analyzed commercial property acquisitions at pension fund advisor First Chicago Investment Advisors, and began her career as a Research Analyst with Grubb & Ellis. She earned her Certified Mortgage Banker Designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association of America in 2008.

Cindy has authored several articles on commercial real estate finance seen in numerous industry and national publications. She has given presentations to the ICSC, ULI, AZCREW, the Pima County Real Estate Research Council, Arizona Commercial Mortgage Lender’s Association, Grubb & Ellis and ASU’s Master’s in Real Estate Development. She has served as an expert witness on commercial mortgage in commercial litigation.

She is past president of LAI’s Arizona chapter, and past president of the Arizona Commercial Mortgage Lender’s Association and AZCREW, past national director of CREW Network, member of the Urban Land Institute formerly serving as chair of the Arizona District Council Program Committee and member of the ULI Advisory Committee, and holds memberships in the Pima County Real Estate Research Council, Commercial One, REIAC, AZCREW and Phi Beta Kappa. She holds licenses as an Arizona commercial mortgage banker and real estate broker in Arizona and California. Cynthia earned a B.S. degree in Economics, summa cum laude with honors from Arizona State University in 1984.

Arthur, or better known as “Tre” amongst his colleagues, is the President of LineageCRE, where he oversees business development and day-to-day operations. In 2014, Arthur joined LineageCRE and brought his background and expertise to help expand our property management footprint throughout the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. He has a very personal, hands-on approach and he makes himself readily available to his clients.

Prior to joining the LineageCRE team, he was the Director of Finance for Abart Properties Corporation, a private commercial real estate investment and development company, where he honed his skills of underwriting, due diligence review, contract negotiations, financing oversight, asset management and investor/tenant relations.

Arthur is very active in industry groups and the Arizona community. He’s a member of BOMA, Lambda Alpha and REIAC’s Phoenix chapter and participates in NAIOP. He supports the charities of Lion’s Club and Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired. He attended Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University and graduated with a degree in global business financial management..

Andrea Drozdowicz is a commercial banker at Pinnacle Bank. Her expertise includes commercial real estate permanent and construction loans on all property types for business owners, professional real estate investors and developers. Andrea has been a banker in the Phoenix area since 2004 and has 30 years of commercial banking and real estate lending experience. Andrea received her Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Arizona and is actively engaged with many professional organizations that focus on commercial real estate and philanthropic organizations that focus on mentoring the youth in our communities.

Steve is an experienced leader within KPMG’s audit practice serving a variety of clients in all stages of their business lifecycle. He has extensive experience serving public and private audit clients reporting in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS. He takes pride in working with clients to provide insights on complex accounting issues and delivering an exceptional client experience. Industry focuses include Real Estate, Hospitality, Manufacturing, and Construction.

Cole McPherson, Esq. is Commercial Account Manager for the National Commercial Services division of First American Title Insurance Company, an international provider of title, escrow and information related products and services and the longest established Arizona title insurance underwriter. Cole joined the First American family in 2019 and has experience in both title and escrow services. Prior to becoming Commercial Account Manager, Cole worked as Associate Underwriting Counsel for the Phoenix National Commercial Services division, underwriting complex and high-risk transactions for the company on a local and national basis.

Cole earned a Bachelor of Science in Economy and Industry from the University of Arizona and received her Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. Cole is a member of the Arizona State Bar Association. Cole is a fourth generation Arizonan and resides in Scottsdale.

As the Managing Director for LevRose, Mike is making an impact assisting in the growth of each of his team members, while helping to ensure their clients expectations are consistently exceeded.

Mike has been a major part of the Arizona Commercial Real Estate industry since 2003 when he joined Costar. After being named the 2011 Top Performer for this national firm, Mike went on to win several “President’s Club” awards. Mike eventually became the Regional Director of Sales for Costar operations in Arizona, New Mexico and Utah managing both Costar and Apartments.com sales teams. In this role, he helped to cultivate relationships with existing clients while continuously assisting with new business opportunities.

Prior to Costar, Mike was in the major accounts division of ADP Payroll Services as well as working for Mobil Oil covering the west coast as a regional manager.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International business from Western Michigan University and has lived in Arizona since 1998.

Mark Singerman is a Vice President and Regional Director for Rockefeller Group International, Inc. He is responsible for identifying development opportunities and the development process for the company’s projects throughout Arizona including in-depth financial and market analyses and directing the consultant teams including architects, engineers, leasing agents and coordinating with in-house construction management.

His extensive real estate career began in 1976 in the Midwest as a retail Leasing Representative for Developers Diversified REIT in Cleveland, OH. This was followed by 43 years in Southern California, Michigan and Arizona with several large developers including regional mall developer Ernest W. Hahn, Inc. and Trizec/Hahn. He has directed the acquisition, development and construction of numerous office, industrial and retail projects as well as single and multi-family residential and large scale mixed-use master-planned communities in California, Arizona, Texas, Michigan, Ohio and Florida.

Mr. Singerman holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, with honors in Personnel Management, from Ohio University and a Masters of Business Administration from California State, Dominguez Hills Campus.

Dave is a Senior Vice President for Logistics Property Company (LPC) and their first employee in Phoenix. Dave is handling projects around the Valley for LPC as well as involved in projects out of town.

Prior to joining LPC, Kross worked for Cypress West Partners, a privately held medical developer, based in SoCal; Irgens, a privately held medical/office real estate developer based in Milwaukee, WI; and Duke Realty, a publicly traded national REIT, managing developments in markets across the country. He moved to Phoenix in 2007 to assist in opening Duke’s west coast office.

Dave received his Bachelor and Master of Science Degrees with a focus in Structural Engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. He has his Arizona real estate brokers license and holds a commercial contractors license in Arizona as well.

Kross is a Former President of REIAC and a current NAIOP member. Dave resides in Scottsdale with his wife, Connie and their three children.

John Kinser leads the Commercial Real Estate banking group at Enterprise Bank & Trust. In addition to leading the production team in Arizona, his duties include leadership and mentoring of all CRE professionals in the Southwest markets of Arizona, Southern California, Nevada and New Mexico. Prior to his banking career, John spent 19 years at NorthMarq Capital where he was responsible for originating life company, CMBS and Agency debt (Freddie/Fannie/HUD). John holds a BS in Finance and an MBA, both from Arizona State University.

Chelsea Porter is Vice President of Brand and Development Strategy at The Renaissance Companies, where she helps guide the firm’s strategic vision while leading brand, marketing, and business development initiatives. A native of Arizona, Chelsea earned a BFA in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design and a master’s in real estate development from Auburn University. With over 15 years of experience in commercial construction and development, she is actively involved in NAIOP and other industry organizations and has been recognized as one of Arizona’s Commercial Real Estate Emerging Leaders and Top 100 CRE Professionals.

Danny is involved in all aspects of ViaWest Group with primary emphasis on company strategy, culture, deal-sourcing, and operational performance, as well as, cultivating strategic relationships. Danny co-chairs the company’s investment committee and serves on the senior management committee. He has over 18 years’ experience working in senior management positions for both public and private real estate investment companies.

Prior to joining ViaWest in 2011, Danny served as Vice President for two publicly-traded REITs: Parkway Properties and Pacific Office Properties. Danny has been involved with the acquisition/disposition, repositioning, and management of over $2 billion of commercial real estate transactions. As a former military officer, Danny also brings a wealth of operational and leadership experience. While in the Army, he served throughout Europe and the Americas for five years, achieving the rank of Captain.

Danny is a graduate of The United States Military Academy at West Point, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. He subsequently received an MBA from Yale University. Danny serves on the board for NAIOP (AZ Chapter) and REIAC (Southwest), is a former Board Chairman for NAIOP AZ, and actively participates in numerous civic and charity endeavors. He is also a past recipient of the Phoenix Business Journal’s Forty-Under-40 (Class of 2015).

Danny resides in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife Danielle and three children.

Mark Stapp is the executive director of the Master of Real Estate Development program and Fred E. Taylor Professor in Real Estate in the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He also serves as a faculty associate in the School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at ASU. As an active member of the Phoenix development community, Stapp is currently on the board of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation Phoenix (LISC) and has been part of various business enterprises and development projects for over past 30 years. He has served as the vice chair for the Board of Directors of the Valley Forward Association and is a member of the Provosts Advisory Council for Arizona School of Health Sciences and Oral and Dental Health.

He is the managing partner of Pyramid Community Developers, LLC, a development management firm and provider of asset management and design consultation services. He is also U.S. operations president for Naef International Management, a Swiss investment company. He previously served as chairman of the Board of Taliesin Architects, Inc., for 10 years; was vice president of Planning and Development Services for Lendrum Design Group; served as managing director of Mountain West Research and was senior vice president of The Ellman Companies.

Stapp completed his undergraduate work in environmental studies and urban design at William Paterson University, did his graduate work in urban economics at Arizona State University and was a member of the 2000 Stanford University Graduate School of Business Executive and Professional Education program. Stapp received a Doctor of Humane Letters from A.T. Still University for his work in community sustainability, health and wellness.

Ted Northrop, Jr. is a Regional Vice President and Partner at Atwell, an international consulting, engineering, and construction services firm. He has more than 21 years of experience in land development consulting throughout the southwest United States and has been instrumental to the growth and success Atwell has seen over the past decade. Mr. Northrop oversees operational activities throughout the southwest and contributes to corporate strategy, client relations and business development initiatives as a shareholder. He is a Member of Atwell’s Board of Directors.

Mr. Northrop’s professional experience includes due diligence, entitlements, design, project delivery, and management of master planned communities, commercial and retail developments, institutional facilities as well as transportation, municipal and federal projects. He challenges project managers and staff to see the client’s larger vision and how they can positively impact overall development goals. He believes this approach allows the consultant to continually find efficiencies and practices that deliver value throughout the duration of a project which maximizes clients’ return on their investment.

Mr. Northrop directs in-house professional engineers, surveyors, environmental and natural/cultural resource specialists in Commercial Real Estate services that include Due Diligence (Land Surveys, Environmental Assessments, Site Investigation Reports, Development Cost/Risk Analysis), Site Design (Test Fits, Site Planning, Landscape Design, Civil Engineering), Entitlements (Site Plan/Zoning Approvals, Variance/Special Use Permits, Subdivision/Plat Approvals), Project Delivery (Permitting, Program Management, Construction Management), and Operations (Remodel, Expansion, Maintenance and Portfolio Management Support). He is a licensed professional engineer in several states and has his contractor’s license in the State of Arizona.

Catherine Thuringer has responsibility for the Development and Investment Group for Trammell Crow Company and High Street Residential, TCC’s residential subsidiary, in the state of Arizona. With more than 30 years in the real estate industry, her experience encompasses leading all phases of development from site acquisition through land use/entitlements, design/construction, marketing, financial performance and project disposition and includes more than ten million square feet of development projects with a market value approaching $2 billion.

Cathy serves as one of nine members of Trammell Crow Company’s Executive Committee,which sets the strategic direction and business goals for the firm at large. Additionally, she is a member of TCC’s Leadership Council, a senior leadership group that is charged with vetting and implementing strategic company initiatives. She also frequently participates as a subject matter expert for TCC’s National Investment Committee reviewing the Company’s investment in development projects throughout the United States.

Dawn Cartier is the President and founder of CivTech, Inc., an Arizona-based transportation planning, traffic engineering and design firm. Ms. Cartier founded CivTech in 2002 with an established reputation for listening to her client’s needs and an ability to work through complicated issues. Her client portfolio includes federal, state and local agencies, private clients as well as other design professionals.

Ms. Cartier directs in-house professional engineers, technicians, designers and personnel capable and experienced in all service areas of traffic engineering including: traffic signal design, signal warrant studies, intersection safety studies, traffic calming studies, and intelligent transportation design. CivTech has prepared numerous traffic engineering documents and plans as part of multi-disciplinary projects including change of access reports, corridor analysis and design, and project assessments for federal funding. Ms. Cartier received her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1996 from Northern Arizona University and is a licensed engineer in several states.

Ms. Cartier currently serves as a Southwest Board Member of the Real Estate Investment Advisory Council. She also serves as a board member of the Arizona Chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies and is the past chair for the ADOT DBE Task Force. She is an active member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers, Pinal Partnership and American Public Works Association.

Brent M. Borchers, P.E. is the Desert Southwest Director Regional of Operations for Terracon’s Avondale, Phoenix, and Tucson, Arizona offices, as well as the Las Vegas, Nevada and Albuquerque, New Mexico offices. He is a Senior Principal and Vice President of the firm.

Brent earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University in 1996.

With more than 29 years of professional experience at Terracon, Brent has managed thousands of projects throughout Arizona. Over the course of his career, he has developed expertise across three of Terracon’s service lines: geotechnical engineering, environmental services, and materials testing.

Brent is actively involved in professional and community organizations. He currently serves as Treasurer of Desert Cross Lutheran Church, Tempe, AZ. Brent has held numerous leadership roles within the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), including serving on the Region 8 Board of Governors, and spending eight years as a University of Arizona Practitioner Advisor. He has also served as a mentor through the Architecture, Construction, and Engineering (ACE) Mentor Program of America.

In his spare time, Brent enjoys spending time with his wife Angela, traveling, and off-roading in his UTV.
