REIAC Southwest memberships are given to individuals and not organizations. Dues for the chapter are $600 annually. All applications must be approved by the board of directors. Board meetings are held at the beginning of each month except the month of July.
Principal Occupation: All REIAC Members must be directly affiliated with a “principal”. In order to fulfill the mission, REIAC strictly excludes brokers, property management companies, service providers, vendors, accountants and law firms.
Real Estate Capitalization: The entity represented by the individual REIAC Member must be involved in significant real estate investment activity with a portfolio of acquired assets and/or discretionary capital to invest in the amount of $50 million nationally or $10 million locally.
Primary Professional Responsibilities: A REIAC Member’s primary professional
responsibility should involve real estate transactions. Below please find a list of REIAC recognized primary responsibilities.
Position and Experience: A REIAC Member must have at least 10 years of working
experience in the commercial real estate industry and must hold a senior position within their respective firm or entity. Typically REIAC defines a “senior” position as one that starts at the Vice-President or Director level.
We are pleased to announce a new Membership Level called Junior Executive Membership.
Membership fees are $300 for a one year term. Must have 3 to 5 years of experience and a REIAC member as a sponsor. Limited to 1 per company.
